Gateway Christian Fellowship in Cedar Lake is offering children ages 6 through 12 one awesome time! "We want to give kids the chance to learn more about sports, discover character-building concepts, and have a whole lot of fun!" says Pastor Mike Powers.
At Beyond the Gold Sports Camp, kids will enjoy a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, cup stacking and more. It doesn't matter if they've played all their lives or just started yesterday. Beyond the Gold Sports Camp helps kids improve their skills. All sorts of drills and activities will get kids focused on the fundamentals that make athletes great. In addition, the sports camp creates a positive and encouraging environment that pumps up their confidence and self-esteem. Between sports sessions, coaches lead in songs, tell stories, and do cool object lessons that help character-building themes like teamwork, perseverance, and sacrifice, take hold in kid's hearts.

Beyond the Gold Sports Camp will be held July 29 through July 31 from 12:30 - 4:00 PM at the Cedar Lake Town Complex, 7408 Constitution Ave. No entry fee is necessary however, a parent/guardian signed registration form is required.
